In the world of Ayurveda, a Kashayam is a concentrated medicinal decoction. It is the result of a slow, controlled extraction process where potent dried herbs, barks, and roots are simmered in pure water over several hours. Unlike simple infusions (like tea), a Kashayam reduces the liquid volume, intensifying the concentration of water-soluble phyto-actives. At Sattva Pure, we replace the "Aqua" (plain water) found at the top of most ingredient lists with these nutrient-dense herbal decoctions.

Our Extraction Process: The Sattva Standard

We don't buy pre-made extracts. We craft our Kashayams in-house to ensure the "Conscious Care" standard is met at the cellular level.

Selection

We source raw, seasonal botanicals—such as Manjishta, Neem, and Amla—at their peak potency.

Slow-Simmering

The herbs are boiled in a 16:4 ratio (16 parts water reduced to 4 parts), a traditional method that ensures the release of complex alkaloids and antioxidants.

Filtration
